I didn't wash the penis for 4-5 days, instead applied an ointment on the stitches everyday, and took antibiotics and painkillers. I have stopped taking the medication now on the doctor's advice.
1. I washed it yesterday with lukewarm water and the glans seemed to have healed normally. However, the swelling on the underside still looks quite prominent. When can I expect it to go away?
2. Also, I had multiple erections last night and I seemed to have broken a stitch or two which resulted in a little bleeding, is this okay?
3. I didn't wear any underwear or pants at all since the surgery and instead, I have been roaming around with a towel wrapped around my waist 24x7. When can I start wearing underwear? The sensitivity seems to have gone down, but I'm worried about the underwear making things worse by rubbing/disturbing the stitches.
Just looking for some reassurance.

You cannot wear underwear for one month or at least 4 weeks. Wait until all the stitches fall down. Erections are common as we are circumcised as an adult. So avoid porn, sensuality, sex, masturbation etc. Be relax. If can put some ice tubes.
I had a tight foreskin (was never able to pull it back) and it started to hurt a little when I pee. The doctors deemed it necessary to get a surgery, so I just went ahead.
Don't worry buddy, you can have sex as normal after one month. Just give your circumcised wounds to set up the new buds around the scar line. Fuck yeah, you'll enjoy sex after circumcise. Be patient mate.
Hahaha, yes, if needed, I gotta put that strap on, but most likely I plan to stay at home for 3 weeks, which is good enough, I guess? I mean wearing undies after 3 weeks?
That swelling is apparently pretty common. Mine was the whole way around the cut line. For comfort if you need to get out and about I used what are called mens incontinence pads placed in the front of briefs or y- fronts. They are thick and soft and absorb any seepage from the surgery and also hold your penis in place. They also protect it from hurting too much if you bump into things. Also they don’t show unless you are wearing really tight and thin pants or shorts. Take Care and happy healing!!
I did Google and found common advice is to only do it for the first 24 hours post surgery. The OP clearly states his was done a week ago so no evidence this treatment will do any good and may even slow down healing.
