Day 32 of circumcision, Swelling is same as week 1

Hi

Im on day 32 of my circumcision journey and the swelling is same as week one. I haven't had sex or masturbated during the time period. I kept my penis in the upward position. The only time when penis points downwards is when taking shower. My doctor said it will take 6 weeks for the swelling to go down. Since im on the 5th week and not seen any progress what should i do?

I'm seeing mixed suggestions for swelling. Some say dont massage the swelling area others say to massage it. Some say use compression bands around swelling others say let it be free and do not wear tight underwear.

I could really use some suggestions and support over here, Thanks

Same here swelling on underside gp says it takes a long time 6 months sometimes a year but i was told to masturbate to get blood flowing,you got to give it time

Im waiting for the six weeks period to be over ,if no progress seen then im also going to give it a try. Is it got worse or better after u did? Hidden

Do you tug your penis up? The swelling started only to go down for me, when I put him inside a toilet paper role so that the blood could flow out.

What worked? I tried using the gauze again and tightening it and didn't work... I also place it upright but when i walk it goes back down to facing straight idk what to do I can only keep it up right during sleep..

I’ve tried compression dressings and upright positioning and it does not work for me mate. Only moves the fluid around the ring. Soon as I remove dressing fluid moves back to its original position. I find it’s dissipating slowly at its own free will. Nearing 10 weeks Post Op and still swollen

Oh alright thanks for letting me know this doesnt work as I was going to waste my time doing it... so does the swelling show when erect still? i have a bit of swelling erect and do you keep penis down towards leg when wearing underwear?

I’ve tried positioning my penis upright in tight underwear as I was given advice from others on this site that it will help with drainage secondary to gravity. However, my penis naturally finds its way back to its normal hanging position (urethra pointed down). I’m over it at this point. I haven’t been doing anything special and just letting nature take it’s course. There is something very strange about this lymphedema ordeal. I find some times the swelling is lesser or greater which lets me know some kind of drainage is actually occurring. Why it’s not completely draining is the million dollar question. I haven’t gotten anyone to answer that yet. Not even my surgeon.
