Itcing and cramp in menopause

I'm 62, a late comer to the menopause. No hit flushes as such, just overall hotness. When estrogen starts to diminish, does it do it bit by bit? I seem to be ok for a while, then another symptom kicks in. Atm I have itchy arms and sore joints. It's a bit debilitating. Also cramp has returned in my legs, deep joy, which I haven't had for ages.

Anyone's thoughts would be appreciated

🙂Some women are in their early 60s when they reach Menopause…and haven’t had a period fo 12mths.

Have a look at this link..it gives helpful information. If you need peace of mind, speak to your GP.

Hi

You mirror me and my symptoms. I’m 64 - late to menopause- different symptoms appearing- joint pain, leg pain, itch skin particularly on back, dry eyes, vaginal atrophy, bladder problems . I take Vagifem for atrophy and started on HRT spray Lenzaprozole - early days yet but my symptoms a lot worse since total hysterectomy with removal of ovaries. The joys of post menopause!!
