I love my job except for my coworkers. First they took away my sick leave now they are threatening to cut my hours. The director came in today and in a scolding voice discussed my pay check with me in front of the rest of the staff. I was humiliated and then angry. I didn't say anything and left. I wish I could stop thinking about it. I don't want to allow her to ruin my weekend. I am not good at standing up for myself. I don't know how to express anger. Anger makes me feel stupid and juvenile. I am trying to distract my mind with movies. I really want to look into the legalities of this. Yes, I am already looking for another job. This sucks I have been there 3 1/2 years, I love our clients. I am not qualified to do much my brain is screwy and the depression makes things worse. Sigh

I don't know which country you are in, but I'm guessing it's The States. Unfortunately I don't know the Labor rules there. I would suggest you ask an Advice line if there are any there.
In Britain we still get this sometimes, and folk get help through Citizens' Advice Bureau, or their Unions, if they have one, or ACAS, which is a mediation service.
Cheers, Midori
