After horrid weather yesterday, this morning was sunny, cool, and breezy, and I was in the mood to run again. So the HU 10K it was - another mostly trails forest pootle, revelling in the sights, sounds and scents around me, with lots of photo-stops. 10.22km, 373m elevation, and time at the 10K point roughly 1 hour 26 minutes (I can't be bothered to add it up accurately.)
Tomorrow marks three years since I started C25K. So glad I did!

Well done Cmoi. Hills as usual, but we know that they don’t stop you. Beautiful photographs ; everything looks really fresh and inviting. Great run 👏👏👏👏👏
Well done to you Cmoi on running the HU Spring 10K, I also ran it this morning, I agree with you that it's lovely revelling in the sights and sounds when running through woodland, the 10K I ran was also though some woodland trail and as I live in Scotland around a Scottish loch.
Thanks SueAppleRun - it wasn't my slowest 10K, though a long way from my fastest. And when I started C25K I assumed that 10K was way out of my league, I was only aiming to finish the programme. Not quite sure what happened!
Thanks Dexy5 . It's odd, I feel I've done quite a bit of running over the past three years, but mostly through pig-headedness and good fortune. I still have so much to learn.
Thanks Kevin41 . I used to be more bothered about times. Nowdays it just seems ridiculous when I don't enjoy running fast, and more importantly am not comparing like with like. Terrain, gradients and elevation gain do make a difference, even though the distance is the same!
Tbh doing 10K without taking it seriously it feels more than I deserveIrishprincess . I do need to stop comparing myself to others though, and just do what suits me.
Thanks Oldfloss . It was so rewarding in a host of ways. Also, as forecast, today's weather is back to grotty grey, so running yesterday was perfect timing!
Looks like a great run with great scenery! Ive just hit my 3rd year anniversary with C25K and like you, so pleased I did that and joined this fanstatic forum of support and encouragement!😀🙏🏃♀️
Thanks ForbiddenPlanet , it was definitely an enjoyable run. Much of the event organising was down to linda9389 - I'm basically Ms Messages'n'Music, along with TailChaser , my playlist partner in crime!
