Just wanted to say huge thanks to the team for putting together the HU Marathon and 10k run.
I was struck with some Solear muscle issues, so I missed out on the real thing, but after some technical gremlins, I finally managed to run the first 4km of the 10k run this morning, using RunGo and also listening to the HUHM2023 Spotify playlist.
As you can see from the pic, the weather was wonderful, and I imagined running through the Vancouver peninsula, passing the laughing men statues, Stanley Park, and the beautiful coastal scenery. I walked that route ca 25 years ago, so it was wonderful to run-listen experience it again!
My tech gremlins are strange. Despite being tech savvy, somehow I have not managed to make the RunGo work with virtual outdoor run. I know it worked last year, and I have looked at all settings. So not sure what this is about.
But virtual treadmill run works, so I took the phone into my swinging hands and ran the route with phone in hand. Of course once home, I told my hubby that this would mean I’d have to get another running gadget: an arm-phone holder! 🤣🤣
Now I just have to find a way to hack RunGo to experience the last 6k of the run!
