Early Sunday run 🤩

Well it was definitely worth setting the old alarm clock this morning as I just had a very nice 11k pootle! I cannot lie, it was fairly warm, but nothing near what it will be later.. There were pockets of cooler air lurking in various places too which were very welcome! 🥶

I saw a few other runners who obviously all had the same early o’clock idea - I think we’ve all forgotten what it’s like to be able to pick and choose what time we run at the weekend at the moment 😊.

I saw some golfers on the golf course and was tempted to shout out, ‘isn’t your grass lovely and green’,, which it is compared to the yellow of everything else. But I was a bit pooped and while it’s quite fun to put the cat among the pigeons, I didn’t have the energy really 🤣.

All in all I really enjoyed today’s run, I hope everyone has a smashing day whatever you’re up to. 😁⭐️🌸

Thank you misswobble ! Yes, I felt as though I really needed it today, although I was very tempted to hit the snooze button. I’d have regretted it later though! 😊😊😊

I have similar thoughts every time I cross our golf course at the moment! I too look forward to not have to get up at silly o'clock to get out there, but well done for making the most of the day - well worth it 😊
