Local Landmarks 10K complete!

Hi all, I’m pleased to say I finished the Local Landmarks 10K (a spin-off from the London Landmarks HM) this morning at Bognor Regis.

The wind was very strong so I had to walk in places, and shingle had been thrown onto the promenade by storm Eunice making for some tricky conditions underfoot. Overall, I’m pleased to have done it and it’s given me a great sense of achievement!

Take care of yourself if you’re running today, it’s a bit windy!😳

Congratulations to you David G on completing the Local Landmarks 10K at Bognor Regis in challenging conditions, well done, that photo of the big puddles is fairly typical of paths all over the UK, the bad news is that there is another named storm on the way named Storm Franklin, once again congratulations on your run today. 😊 🏃🏾

Thanks AlMorr yes, I’m bracing myself for storm Franklin!😳 It doesn’t look to be quite as windy as Eunice was, but you never know. 🤞

Well done David. Testing conditions for you. Although Eunice has gone it is still extremely windy and the high spring tides are not helping. You can now relax.

Yes you must do, I want to go on an adventure but Willow won’t let me out the door in case I get blown away, so there’s a little run envy from me 😀

Thanks CBDB I have to upload evidence of the 10K first, before they send the medals out🏅 I’ve found out since I ran this morning that the run can be done anytime before next weekend!🤣

I’ve run in snow on Morecambe seafront 🥶. Fun though. It’s elemental I guess. Or something 🤷‍♀️😀
