Is there a shorter London Landmarks Event?

My plan is to enter the London Marathon Ballot in the hope I can run LM2021 (Does anyone know when the ballot opens?) but after talking to my friend about the sightseeing route he has lined up next month (he's flying out to run the Monaco 10K) I've decided I want to enter the ballot to do the London Landmarks Half next year aswell. I'm trying to persuade my friend to do it with me but he's not so keen on running 22Km, and so we were wondering if there's a good sightseeing tourist attraction style 10k event in London?

I've done a quick Google search, but nothing seems to jump out.

London Winter 10k, Vitality 10k, ASICS London 10k ... there are probably more, but those are three of the well known ones.

The LLHM event itself only covers HM distance.

The London Vitality 10,000 is one such race. I’m running it this year with my daughter and there are lots of HUers running it too - so it’s a popular one. It’s held at the end of May. 😀

[C3PO Marathon]

The ASICS London 10K is a good sightseeing event. I did it in July 2014, when I was in London for the weekend. It had a different sponsor then, but I think it's pretty much the same event.

The London Marathon ballot opens in late April (last time it opened on the day of the London Marathon) and stays open for 5 days.

They may not have finalised the date yet 😊You might be able to 'register an interest' and get on their mailing list at some point - then you will get an email telling you when the ballot will open. Or if you do Facebook, follow them on there and you will get updates.

But I'm sure someone will post about it on here anyway 😊😊😊
