Hi everyone, I did my HM by the seaside at Bognor Regis this morning. The weather was relatively kind apart from a strong wind, which meant running into a headwind for the 5th to 7th, 10th to 13th and brutally the 18th km. The upside was that I had a tailwind from 14th to 17th km which helped a bit!π I did it in just over 2.5 hours so Iβm pleased with that. Thanks so much to Linda9389, Roseabi and everyone else who contributed to this great event. The RunGo app worked perfectly and I followed the London Landmarks HM virtual commentary while listening to the HUHM playlist on Spotify. What an experience it was, itβs one Iβll remember for a long time!
It also completed my Lands End to John OβGroats virtual challenge. That took 224 calendar days (196 running days) and it took me 159:06:12 hours to run the whole wayπββοΈπ
Now for a celebration I think! πΎπ₯π₯³

Huge congratulations, David. Those winds were bad enough here so I canβt imagine how much worse they were by the sea. Hope you are taking it easy now.
Wow! Both LEJOG and HUHM! Brill! And I see your combination of the Freetrain vest and the Aonijie Hydration rucksack!
(You gave me actually the idea to run with both belt and Freetrain vest, which I do now on longer runs and it feels good and works perfectly! )ππ½ππ
