I completed the Local Landmarks 10K this morning in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
The weather was kind: not much breeze and lots of lovely sunshine 🌞😎🏃♂️ I started off running inland, then went down to the seafront towards the end so I had the wind behind me for a couple of km. This led me into the final section which finished near a favourite eatery of mine for a full English breakfast 😋 Not a bad morning, all things considered!
I’m now going to concentrate on training for the Worthing half marathon at the end of April 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♂️

Congratulations on completing that Local Landmarks 10K in a great time of 1:13:12, you well deserved that full English breakfast after your run, now relax for the rest of the day 😊👍🏃♂️
Dexy5 no I haven’t. The sports physio suggested they’d last a long time as they’re specially designed for me, but I’ll keep an eye on them to see how they wear.
I’d certainly hope they’d last longer than at least 2 pairs of shoes but surprised the shop/producer didn’t say how many miles to expect. although I guess it depends on weight and other factors. I’m sure you’ll know when they stop working.
Thanks Dexy5 the critical part is the strengthening under the heel and arches. That’s made of carbon fibre so should last a very long time. They say I can take them back if I have any problems at any time.
Congratulations, I wondered how you'd get on after your injury. Worthing half eh? Just in time for my retirement, not for me this year but give me some time to build up and maybe next
