Well what a day ! Over 23,000 runners and the most amazing atmosphere. If you ever get a chance to do it you must.
I ran for Team Tommys getting a charity place, to date I have raised £625.
Wanted to have a fun time and take lots of pics, my family were on the course but I had no idea where they were. I cried when I saw them 😍
I was still getting over covid so wasn’t expecting a lot but those crowds are something else ! PB it 2.19.44 and over the moon .
A great course but not quite as flat as they make out 😂 but that said so iconic running over Tower Bridge and all the wonderful landmarks of Westminster . The volunteers and crowds make this such a wonderful event and all the charities are so deserving. Legs hurt but so worth it !

Ooh, yes that climb to Tower bridge is a bit of a drain isn't it? Congratulations both on a great PB, and on the fundraising for such a worthwhile cause. I love the photo, what a memory to treasure!
Aw, very cute photo alert!! 😍 Well done on what sounds like a fab event - and a great time too (especially after Covid). Th e crowds at these big events are always so supportive and uplifting, aren’t they?🙂🏅
thank you it was great, not done many half’s think this is my 3rd official one and doing Edinburgh at the end of May I think that’s big too as they have the Marathon the same day .
