Today I did the Hardmoors Saltburn half marathon route with my running club boss and friend. 14.5 miles with 2000ft of elevation. Ridiculous amounts of mud, wind, hail, mud and a bit more mud. The waterfall from the top of the cliffs was blowing back over the cliff as it was so windy - an en route shower 🚿 Water was streaming down paths like rivers, but what better way to start the year?

I was going to run up the beach but OH wanted to visit there so he drove us up there from our hotel Very friendly peeps. We got tea and biccies afterwards, sitting in the lovely park. Then a stroll along the prom. The sands are gorgeous 🙂
