I have a 10 mile trail trail event in three weeks and have been building up my distance again for this.
My plan had been to run 14k but once I was out there on the beautiful trails - and taking things steady - I decided to plod on to 16.2k(10 miles).π
This was not an easy route today - lots of mud and puddles and a hill that was so slippy I literally couldnβt run up it (I tried and failed!π€£). I know for sure that my event will be much flatter, although it is by the coast so it COULD be windy!π±
Anyway, miles in the bag and happily home!
Have a good week of running everyone.π

It was a beautiful morning to be out running Dexy5 . Iβm doing the Run Rebel Chichester Harbour 10 mile trail run on March 22nd. Two work colleagues are also running it, along with hubby and me, so should be fun! Hereβs hoping itβs not too windy!π€π
I will keep my fingers crossed for you Sandra. It would be nice to have it like today. It was glorious at Hayling Island today with just a gentle breeze.
That is a good run to get into your legs Sandraj. I am planning a 12/13k tomorrow but, assuming I make it, I will not push on further. Too early in the season for taking liberties! Anyway, Coach Bennett will close my run down at 8 miles.
Your next 10 miles will definitely feel the benefit, but you know that ππ
