Just in case anyone is looking for some crazy inspiration and has an hour to spare... This short film follows the story of Jim Walmsley's first 100 miler at the 2016 Western States 100 mile endurance run. It tracks Jim a few weeks out from race day through his historic day way ahead of course record splits and the dramatic conclusion of being totally lost on highway 49. What struck me most was his grace at the outcome. Class act. BTW Jim came back and won this same race in 2018 with record temps over 100 degrees, again smashing the old course records, then breaking the records again this year.

Decker, this is worth a watch too, I believe it's the same year as Lost on 49, you can see Jim in the background several times but it's the female contenders...
