If only...
I was supposed to run the 10K Hytteplanmila here in Norway this past weekend. This is a fairly small event of some 3000 runners which sells out quickly, as it is supposedly an easy course, but hubby and I managed to get places for this year. Obviously the main event was cancelled, but they put on an elite race. I watched it the livestream on Saturday, and the Ingebrigtsen brothers and Kilian Jornet were unexpectedly outclassed. I think this was one of Jornet's first road races. I guess with Covid, he has to stick to events here in Norway. A new Norwegian women's 10K record was set - only 11 seconds behind Paula Radcliffe's European record.
I don't regret much, but it would have been fun to have been that close to the Ingebrigtsens and Jornet.
