Areds2 dosage

Can anyone tell me if I should be taking the Areds once or twice a day? Also is it ok to take with other supplements/medications? Thanks

Dear Blindbasset,

You should follow the dosage instructions on the particular brand of supplements you are taking. The AREDS2 daily formula is 500 mg vitamin C, 400 IU vitamin E, 10 mg lutein, 2 mg zeaxanthin, 25 mg zinc, 2 mg copper. Talk to your GP before taking supplements or making major changes to your diet, especially if you take prescribed medications.
