Any women on here 16-20 with lupus?

You can contact lupus U/K and ask them for a young contact to which you can speak to.
But i must say it does not matter how young or old you are you are still dealing with Lupus.
and have to pace yourselfs.

Hi it must be so hard and bewildering for you. My daughter was diagnosed just over a year ago when she was nearly 20. She had hair loss as well as more severe physical pain.
I'm pleased to say that although she still gets fatigue and back pain she has managed to get full time work and is living as near a normal life as possible.
Please don't despair. With the right medication and PMA (positive mental attitude) you will cope. Show your family articles on lupus and help them to understand what you are dealing with.
Good luck and God bless.
hi, i was diagnosed two years ago when i was 18. its been a struggle but a struggle that has made me a stronger person!
My advice to you is to make sure you take your medications every day and regularly and ensure you find time to relax, These are the two things that keep my lupus under control.
Dont let lupus control you, you have to control your lupus and heres a little quote that just helps me get through a hard day;
Life gets easier when you stop seeing yourself as victim but yet see yourself as a soldier whose survived the battles of everyday life.
wish you all the best and good health
