Well done for not smoking.I stopped in April after 40 years or more of what I woud call, light duty smoking but, smoking is smoking.Keep up the good work.
Well done. This Saturday, Dec. 11th, I will have 2 years in of no smoking. After smoking for nearly 20 years, I know how hard it is. I was diagnosed with SLE about 3-4 years ago. I suffered a collapsed lung and that's what put an end to my smoking. The doctors think the Lupus left blebs (blisters) on my lungs. I must admit I do miss it, but I've come too far now to pack it in. I did, however, put on quite a bit of weight. I know that's no good, either. So, on the days when I'm not too tired or in too much pain, I try to get on my cross trainer for 20 or 30 minutes. I've also started eating more fruit and veg and cut out SOME sweets...not all...still have to have a treat now and again. Keep with it. You'll feel much better for it. Things will taste better, your sense of smell will be amazing and overall you WILL feel better.
