Can anyone recommend a rheumatologist in the Sheffield/Derby area?

I'd appreciate any recommendations for a rheumatologist who is particularly good at dealing with sle. Ideally in the Sheffield or Derby area but would be happy to travel to Manchester or Nottingham. Thanks

I can highly recommend professor Ian Bruce at Manchester Royal Infirmary, he is kind caring and very knowledgable about SLE , he also does lots of research re: lupus.

Hi there, I can recommend Prof Emery at the Leeds Lupus Clinic at Chapel Allerton Hospital, i travel there myself from Hull and it's worth the travel as I feel they really know their stuff! hope that helps! best wishes

I see Dr Tait at Sheffield Hallamshire, I have only seen him once when diagnosed as it was a different doctor up til lthen doing the tests. As I have only seen him once I can't really tell you what he is like, he seemed pleasant enough I have another appointment in the next few weeks so will reprot back if you like
