Hi everyone hope you are keeping as well as you can, off for my covid jab this weekend. I've had a whirlwind week and a half after having a funny turn in the supermarket went to GPs who sent me for a chest x-ray and all hell broke loose. X-ray Friday, Monday phone call from GP and from hospital. Tuesday CT scan and another phone call and more phone calls Friday PET scan then consultant on the following Monday. It appears I have another lung nodule to go with the 2 I've had for years only this one is a naughty nodule. More appointments in rapid succession and seeing the surgeon Tuesday coming. The Two Week Wait is very fast that's for sure I didn't know if I was coming or going and all that from having a funny turn out shopping.
I'm keeping positive because the Naughty Nodule is small, but a bit ticked off at the same as it's put itself right in the middle of the lobe so it's a bit bigger job to get at, well I should have known with all the trick's my body like's to play. Oh well going to keep myself as busy as possible I have some pruning to do in the garden and I'm going to make myself some PJs as the ones I have are find for home but that's it that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
Hoping you all keep well.

Oh no that's a bit of a curve ball. Sorry to hear that. Hope things get sorted soon, sounds like they are onto it. Here for support if you need to vent. Take care
The waiting is so hard. Glad they found out the cause of all your ill health though. Keeping yourself distracted with worthy projects, like new PJs, sounds like a good approach! All the best with it, keep us posted ☺️💚🌈
Thank you for your reply, my ill health is due to Sjogren's Syndrome and long-term Asthma and other long -term condition's. Lung Nodules don't tend to have symptom's and are found by chance, most are completely harmless. I've had two for years that were found by chance having a CT scan looking at the blood vessels in the chest. This latest nodule was again found by chance when I had an x-ray that I have every two years to keep an eye the other lung condition of Broncheitasis which can worsen over time so needs to be monitored and medication adjusted if, as or when required. As the latest nodule was new and didn't look quite right I was sent on for CT scan and then PET scan, the later showed that it is a good chance that this third nodule is a naughty nodule. No symptoms out of the ordinary other than feeling a bit funny and ending up on the supermarket floor that I thought may be high BP so went to GP and BP was high I was only sent for the X-ray because I was due the check up.
I've seen the surgeon and should be having the lung biopsy in 3-4 weeks, they are very quick off the mark and all the consultants, doctors, nurses and many other staff are really friendly and helpful, you couldn't wish for better people not a sullen, miserable sole amongst them.
Please remember the majority of nodules are completely harmless and are found by chance and it's unusual to have symptoms early on. I'm lucky my Naughty Nodule although found by chance has been found very early thank goodness.
