You really should tell your Lupus Dr about this- you don’t say what other drugs you take but it is obviously a reaction. Don’t leave it any longer. Taking steroids for too long won’t cure this, just helps you feel better.
It might be an allergic reaction. I have a reaction to codeine (including in co-codamol) that sounds like this - have you been taking a morphine based painkiller since surgery? Or changed other meds?
Sorry to hear of your horrible rash! I used to get a range of rashes, mostly on hands and feet, but also arms and legs as well. Hydroxy sorted out 90% of the rashes (hallelujah!) and I used topical cream for the rest, called Anusol. It’s a haemorrhoid cream recommended by my dermatologist, and it works wonders! Not sure if you could use it all over your body though… 😁
