Could it be due to the traveling? It certainly sounds like you have overdone things and your medications are not stopping the pain and fatigue. Do you need to review your treatment with the doctors?
One thing about lupus is that you know that it will resolve in time - its such an up and down thing but ask for help and get lots of rest and think positive.
I travelled to Surrey to see my daughters at Christmas. We took the train to help avoid a long uncomfortable journey in the car (6 hours) I have been home for 4 days and am shocked at how utterly drained I am and so sore. Woken up this morning slightly breathless and burning chest.
I think perhaps it is just pay back we may have . So frustrating !
the travelling usually does this to me ...... listen to your body and if it is saying it needs rest, then give it rest. Take things easy and remember there is no sell by date on housework, time to indulge you until it all passes. God Bless
What a pain in the you know where, i think it could be anything ive given up on trying to work it out but the important thing is your in pain and its frustrating. Why not treat yourself to lots of little treats eg: watch your favorite happy film, cup of tea with a biscuit, put on your fav song and have a good dance, meet a friend or phone a good friend who will listen but also make you laugh etc you get the idea. I sometimes just write a list of happy things i could do I find it makes the pain a bit more livable. good luck
Thanks everybody - it's nice knowing others that understand.
A quiet New Years Eve for me and partner - am lucky to have him.
Favourite treats to eat and a few good films to watch.
Just what I need!!
So annoying though - just want to feel like I did a year ago.I need to wake up and realise I'm different now...........................................
