Hello everyone

Ive posted a pic of a monkey more interested in the camera than the Gibraltan view because Svfarmer was the winner of Caption Competition No.3!.

Her winning line was 'i wonder what id get at auction'. Congratulations and I hope you like the pic Svfarmer , im sorry its not very interesting. No funny monkeys have been snapped which surprises me really. They can be so cute too.

Many thanks everyone for taking part and submitting some really good captions. It was very hard to judge this one and lovely reading all your submissions.

Hope your all as well and coping as possible. Im delighted to say foot is still pain free as i head into week 2. Hope it lasts!.

Turns out I’m not getting my booster on 26th. Got a letter on Thursday and the appointment is for flu jab which I’ve already had! Need to wait six months after 2nd dose to get a booster so it won’t be until January that I get it. Hope you are staying well. Xx 🐒 🐵

Im sorry your not getting your booster till Jan afterall and your appt was for a flu jab. We're being targeted as ive had letters and texts twice to make appts. They're desperate for us to have them this winter specially.

Ive had to wait longer for mine and finally have it on sat. Jan is specially long for you. Must make you feel very vulnerable.

I don’t know that I feel too vulnerable as it was later until I got my first two vaccines. There was a slip up somewhere and it was end May until I got my first. Practice nurse thinks I should have had my first earlier than that. It is around 11 weeks until I am eligible for my booster. Probably will pass quite quickly with Christmas . Xx 🎅🏼 🎄

Test came back last night - negative thankfully - so now he’s getting his wee bag ready for tomorrow just in case they decide to keep him in overnight. Thanks for your kind wishes Misty. We both appreciate it. Enjoy Strictly results tonight. 🤗😘xx

Strictly was such a good one again. So moving with Rose and giovanni's dance. I was in tears. Sad to see Sara go as i really like her but it was so close between her and Tilly. How will dan go?. Xx

Hi diane, so lovely that this monkey pic has brought back lovely memories of your trip to Gibraltar. I think those monkeys are notorious for being cheeky there aren't they?. We're seeing Strictly this aft so thanks for not spoiling it. Im glad it was such a good one.

Thank you so much svfarmer. Im so pleased you liked it. I think this particular one was having a rest before being cheeky and he got snapped. I have been surprised in the paper that there haven't been monkey pics. They can be so cute. I shall watch out more now.

Its lovely having a normal foot again as its been so long. Im so hoping it lasts now and doesnt come back.

Im having a cortisol blood test this week ato see if ive a problem. Ive been on steroids a long time and having a lot of new symptoms that could be explained by it.

I’m doing a lot of knitting at the moment of dog jumpers that go to auction to help the puppy farm schnauzer survivors - it’s a Facebook group I belong to and Bea & Mira love sitting on my lap, the pair of them whilst I’m knitting 😂

That is wonderful svfarmer putting your lovely knitting to such a lovely cause. Its so satisfying isnt it to do something to help. Wonderful bea and mira 'help' their fellow doggies who need it the most.
