MK83 previously mentioned biotin to BabyOleg. This is not about not taking it, but how it may affect bloodwork results. I recently discovered by accident that it can affect labs which doesn't mean not to take it, but also it is in vitamin supplements. I have hyperparathyroidisn and high Vit D 125 and my labs have been consistently high until adding a multiple vitamin for iron. For the first time ever, they dropped drastically and the only thing different was the vitamin supplement. So I looked up vitamin supplements affecting labs and found that if there is biotin in the supplement it can. This is just one of many articles - labtestsonline.org/articles/biotin-affects-some-blood-test-results. My endocrinologist said biotin only affects thyroid tests, but there are many articles saying it affects other lab results. When I next have my labs for him, I will stop taking the vitamin supplement for a short time and see what happens.
Healing hugs.
