Stormy has asked me to tell everybody on the forum how much she misses you all and misses being on the forum herself, but she sends you all her love. She is really struggling at present with the cardiologist phoning her 3 or 4 times per week. She has a new heart monitor which is radio linked to the cardiologist so I hope and pray he is able to help her. She is not up to staying on the computer for long so is not able to write replies but she reads the posts as and when she can so is keeping in touch that way. She is due to have an ablation as soon as she is up to it and then possibly a pacemaker after that.
I hope this picture makes you smile Stormy and I hope it cheers you up Horsewhisper after the blow you received with your new and added diagnosis.
For anybody needing to be cheered up I hope this answer to the heatwave some of you are experiencing makes you smile.
With love and hugs to everybody. 🤗😘xxxx

Lovely, thoughtful post spotty. Do give stormy my best wishes for a speedy abalation and recovery. She really is having such a tough time. Ive replied to horsewhisper's lovdly post as im sorry too that shes having it tough just now.
Thank you for your lovely messages which i will catch up on during the week. Busy with my 'cutie pic' this week which is wonderful. Hurrah for the forum!.
Hope you are feeling better too dear spotty. Keep safe. Xx🤗❤🤗
Thanks Misty. I’m sure Stormy will read the replies, she just isn’t up to replying. She is indeed having a very tough and painful time and a full diagnosis is still not forthcoming. Very worrying for her. The forum is such a caring and loving place to be which is why she misses it and all the lovely members so much. I totally understand that too.
Hoping you are recovering well yourself now Misty and getting the pain under control. 🙏🏻 Loved your ‘cutie pic’ post and the message of hope it conveyed too. Wonderful. 👍🏻👍🏻
Looking forward to a catch up when you have time and feel like it. Until then take care Misty. 🤗😘xx
I’ll tell Stormy Kay although I’m sure she’ll read the replies herself. Sadly she is still undergoing tests and monitoring so a full diagnosis doesn’t appear to have been given and she is suffering and struggling in the meantime. She’s had an addition to her medication so I hope and pray it will give her some relief from her symptoms until they work out exactly what the problem is and are able to carry out her ablation. All very worrying for her.I hope you are keeping okay yourself.
Glad you liked the pic. It certainly shows why dogs are referred to as a man’s best friend. 😂😂. Take care Kay. 🤗😘
Oh what a scary time for Stormy. It’s always so stressful when people can’t give you answers or plans quickly isn’t it. Hopefully the monitor yields answers quickly for treatment going forward.
Love the photo. Dogs really are a humans best friend aren’t they 🥰
Yes, I suppose most of us here know what that is like - very stressful. It is the not knowing that is the killer. As you say hopefully the monitor will throw some light on Stormy’s problems and allow a treatment plan to begin asap. Glad you enjoyed the photo T&T of one of our best friends only too happy to help! 😂🤣 Take care. xx
What a lovely pic Spotty! Certainly this doggy is this man’s best friend! Hope Stormy enjoys the pic too and gets some answers soon. Thoughts and prayers to Stormy at this tricky time 🐶 🚿 🙏🌺😘🤗😘
Love that picture. Could do with that pooch here at the moment. Sending good wishes and hugs to Stormy and Horsewhisper. Hope that they both get all the answers and help they need. Xx 💐 🌸 🌺
Glad you enjoyed the picture GE. It is cold and wet here today in Dumfries and Galloway so send some warmth this way please. I’m sure Stormy and HW will appreciate your lovely message. Stay safe GE. 🤗😘xx
Love it! Thanks Spotty! Please send a gentle hug and love to Stormy for me. And thanks so much for keeping us updated. Hope you are doing as ok as possible too Dx
I will do D. I’m not bad at present thanks. I started taking an iron tonic after a massive nosebleed which resulted in cauterisation at A&E and am at last beginning to get a bit of energy back. 👍🏻 I hope you are keeping ok? Take care D. 🤗xx
Yikes Spotty. Scary. Did they say why that happened? I have (sorry) had them all my life but much much better on methotrexate. I think it's due to the sjogrens actually... Have you got that too? Bit embarrassing just sitting in a pub or walking up the road (can remember these occasions) and suddenly the floodgates open! Not v nice for others to see either I guess... Oh dear. Poor you. Did they bung your nose up with lint afterwards? I remember a v nasty hospital chap really hurting me with that when I was a child... humph. Funny the things one remembers..!
I do hope you're iron levels improve. Tons of watercress every day is also a very natural increaser of iron.... worked brilliantly for my ma when pregnant with my brother.. she was v anaemic... but my pa wouldn't let her take the meds they gave.. but made her eat watercress every single day. When she went back to the docs for another blood test he said "wow, those pills have certainly worked!" - haha... she never said . I eat a bag of it a week most weeks - sometimes two!
It was scary D as my nose bled profusely for 40 mins non stop. I soaked 4 t-towel sized rags I had. Like you, I’ve always been prone to nosebleeds since a child having to borrow my male teachers handkerchief on one occasion but thankfully never came across a nasty hospital worker like you encountered. How horrible for you! But this nosebleed was the worst I’ve ever had. I had my left nostril cauterised in October because of recurring nosebleeds and then this was my right nostril. My BP was up on this last occasion but the doctor at A&E who did the cauterisation said it wasn’t up enough to be worrying. 🤷🏼♀️ Yes I do have Sjogren’s so interesting you think they are connected. Thanks for the tip about watercress. 👍🏻 I love the story about your mother and the iron tablets and watercress.😂🤣 Brilliant! Hugs back to you D. 🤗😘xx
Oh my goodness! That’s rather serious eh?! I do hope the cauterisation works Spotty. Well my nose is v dry crispy inside these days, since the first set of punctal plugs.. whereas before i had constantly (embarrassingly) running nose. Any of that ring a bell?? X
I’ve only had 1 minor bleed since the last cauterisation so hopefully it was just a glitch. 🙏🏻 My nose is v dry and crispy inside like you described and only ever runs if I’ve eaten something hot especially if it is a bit spicy. 🤷🏼♀️ But dry and uncomfortable is much more common. I’ve never had punctual plugs. Are they for your eyes?
Hey Spotty - yes plugs go in tear ducts(?) - first time I’ve had them in middle of bottom eye rim. Might have them in all ducts if need be. Wld rather not as can feel them.. although most people don’t aparently. Guess they’re bit inflamed. It’s because having eye balls stuck to eye lids all night despite hylo night and using carbomer and visuxl all day every two hrs - and drinking water every 15 mins! Has this been discussed with you? X
No I’m lucky as I don’t appear to have Sjogren’s as bad as you. I hope you won’ t need the extra plugs when you can feel them. I’m so sorry you are suffering all this. I just have the dry eyes and dryness in areas that should be moist. I hope the plugs make a big difference for you D and that perhaps over time you won’t notice them as much. 🙏🏻 Take care. 🤗 xx
Oh that’s good Spotty. I’m ok ta.. it’s just all of it together... the systemic fun & games ;). I’m much better than so many on here. But yes, would like it to get a bit better really. We see. Hope your snoz continues to behave! Big hugs to you xx
Thanks for this! We are in the midst of a major heat wave. Should break tomorrow and then back this weekend up to 107. We are in the PNW so we don’t all have A/C and makes it quite miserable for people. Here’s hoping 🤞🏼 it doesn’t lead to a bunch of 🔥 fires.
Still wearing a fleece here - cool breeze but nice in the sun when it shines complete with shady hat of course.😄 There’s no happy medium it seems, scorching heatwave your end and cool often wet days this end. I hope you don’t get fires as you say. 🙏🏻 You’ll need to borrow the pooch in the photo to keep things dampened down. 😆 Take care D. 🤗xx
Bundles of love ❤️ Hugs 🤗 and support 🤝 for two lovely ladies stormy and hw. XxLove the pic spotty bundles to you too hope you are feeling better 🙏😘🤗xx
Stormy sent a very short message to me today to say she will look at the post today so will no doubt draw much strength from all the lovely messages here for her and of course HW has seen them too. 👍🏻 Stormy is still struggling with what the specialist is telling her as much as with her symptoms. Poor Stormy. I’m not bad thanks Stiff. The iron tonic has made a big difference to my energy level! 💪 I hope you are doing a bit better yourself. 🙏🏻 Take care. 🤗😘xx
