Just thought id post this funnier pic proving a dog really is still 'man's best friend'.
He's Brodie and being such a good navigator for his master. Maybe there's a lot of traffic in the Phillipine's which is where this was taken?. I hope it gives you a π this week and you all take care in this heat/sun.

So pleased you liked it svfarmer and thank you for your lovely wishes. My foot is progressing well and becoming less and less painful. Im needing my leg injections badly as they had to be delayed so still needing the hospital to phone!. Ugh!. In a lot of pain.
How is your knee?.
Do hope your all coping in this heat especially lovely Bea and Mira!.
Do hope you get your leg injection soon but great that your foot is healing so well - Iβm currently led under a tree in our garden in a hammock , itβs so relaxing and cool - Mira likes to lie on her doggy sun bed but Bea is frightened of it , they both have their dog cooling jackets on too ππΆ my knee is not quite so painful today , maybe because Iβve been led in the hammock all afternoon. ππ
Thanks for your good wishes svfarmer. I hope to have news of them soon. Why would Bea be frightened of her sun bed?. They're funny with their neuroses!. A hammock is so relaxing, no wonder knee better. Hope it lasts. Take Care.Xxπβ€πβ€πβ€πβ€πβ€
Hi cecily, im in a lot of pain thanks to needing leg injections!. Hope to hear soon. My foot is doing really well. How are you?. Hope knee still progressing. Xx
Oh no!, I am so sorry. It never ends does it? I am pleased that you foot is healing. Sometimes I think our bodies hate us : I really hope you get the injections soon and that they help your Pain. I am trying hard but feel very weak from sitting so long xxx
Thank you cecily for your lovely thoughts. We certainly are at war with our bodies. Im just wondering if physio would help you. ?. We quickly lose muscle. Im about to ask my gp re physio for my foot as it wants to lean over on one side too much since op.
Long waits thats the trouble but we'te lucky having a physio attached to our gp surgery!. It makes such a difference!. I don't suppose you do?.
Keep safe lovely and just think everytime you get up from sitting your using your thigh muscles!. A physio told me that!. Xxπβ€πβ€
Thank you Misty, no no physio at our surgery. We used to be able to self refer. The Orthopaedic surgeon told me I should not have physio until my tendons had healed because I specifically asked him. I need to check how long it has been and see if the physics are doing self referrals now. I am as stiff as a board honestly and my knees are really grinding and swollen due to inactivity so I think it would really help me now. I hope you get your appointment soon xxx
Hi cecily, that all ties in with what my gp has just said to me re physio. He said foot op too specialised and best to wait till my review appt on 1st july to discuss it all with surgeon. They have access to specialist physios. Your knee needs specialist handling too so good idea to see where your at, number of weeks. It must be up to the time cecily by now!.
π€ for you and thank you for your lovely wishes. Hope i get news end of week!. Xx
I hope you do. Please let me know. I had a respiratory review today and the Consultant told me her nurse had been horrified by my nosebleed and the fact that my GP thought they were caused by anxiety. She said it is about time your Rheumatologist stepped up to help you so I will write to him and tell him you need to be seen. She is also writing to my GP to inform her that my nosebleed was severe and that I needed to be followed up. Now that is a Consultant that listens and acts decisively. I told her that I am so grateful to be stable after 6 months of uncontrolled asthma. She said that is what the medical profession should be doing for you. It made my day xxx
After all your struggles cecily i should think it did!. Dont we wish we could record it for all time as so easy to forget these moments. Thank goodness for that nurse telling the consultant how bad you were and now she will reprimand your gp and rheumy!. You have been treated abysmally by them cecily so π€ you hear from rheumy soon with an appt. Hurrah for proactive consultants. Keep safe and fighting. Xx
Yes indeed. I was so grateful to the nurse because she could have just said go to A&E but she actually rang the ENT registrar and I got help. We donβt expect miracles just a bit of respect and consideration xxx
So cute! I will post a story about a cat that also a bike companion and more that a friend just sent me yesterday. Dogs and cats are truly the best friends! Glad your foot is getting better.
