Just thought id share these 'cuties' as they are a litter of 8 border collie puppies who can't wait to join their parents working with the Blenheim Palace sheep.
Lovely seeing their eagerness and enthusiasm.
Hope your all as well as possible. Im hopefully having my podiatry review on friday. π€Keep safe.

Thanks weathervane for your lovely messages. I will email you shortly. Glad you liked the pups and collies are your favs. The way they are trained to be sheepdogs is amazing. They look up at their owners wanting to do the next task. They're working dogs and love performing not being cooped up on housing estates like ours!. Have a lovely sunday and ill be in touch. XxπΆβ€πΆ
πβ₯οΈπ Adorable π₯° All that cuteness will become hardworking dogs whose eagerness and enthusiasm will be put to good use. π πΆ Hope everything goes well at the podiatrist on Friday. Xx π¦Άπ» π¦Άπ»
Thanx so much ge for your good wishes for friday. Im glad your Rheumy appt went well and you've got your Behcet's diagnosis confirmed. So pleased you liked the pups. Collies love working and it is amazing to think these pups will grow into being working sheepdogs.
Hope your all keeping well and ill do an update next week. Keep safe. XxπΆβ€πΆ
Arenβt they so adorable and to have them all peering over at the same time, they are amazing dogs. Have you watched Our Yorkshire Farm on channel 5 about the shepherd and shepherdess , shepherding on the Yorkshire moors? Itβs a nice programme. Such loyal dogs arenβt they.
Sorry I havenβt caught up with you yet Helen, itβs been a crazy time with family stuff going on, Iβll fill you in as soon as I can! I really hope youβre turning a corner with your toe. π€
Thank you Diane for your lovely message. We love Our Yorkshire Farm program and have liked Adam from Countryfile 's Family Farm Rescue too. Farmer's are so dependent on their sheepdog's that they have to be right!. It must be so rewarding training sheepdog's!.
Hope your sorting out important family things Diane so no rush at all to tell me. I know how stressful it can all be.
I've got my podiatry appt on Friday so hoping for more foot help. It's still a pain!..
Hope you have a better week and take care lovely. XxπΊππΊππ
Thanks my lovely, good luck for Friday, I really hope they can help you, itβs been a miserable time for you πͺ so everything crossed for youπ€. Sending you big hugs xxππ₯°π§ββοΈπ¦πxx
I adore puppies. There is nothing quite like the beauty of a puppy for me. It makes me broody πβ€οΈπ€Good luck with podiatry on Friday. I sincerely hope they can help with your foot pain xxx
So pleased you loved these puppies cecily. I agree how adorable they are!. Thank you for your good wishes re podiatry appt. I'll do an update next week. How about your knee?. Any news on physio appt yet?. Bit soon really I guess but it's never soon enough for us when in pain!.
I had a telephone appointment ( triage) this week. He did his best to relinquish any potential for the physio department and direct me back to the acute knee clinic. I refused. He then resorted to the usual β you are a complex caseβ and then β your insistence at requesting a face to face appointment puts you at serious risk. You have AI, you are obese and you are elderlyβπ³I mean yes I am 60 next month but what a cheek. I laughed and said I am double jabbed bring it on. He conceded defeat so someone will call me in a few weeks to arrange an appointment xxx
Well done cecily for sticking to your guns about needing an appt. The cheek of him saying your elderly at 60!. He needs to get real as 80 is elderly now , we're living longer !. You must have been furious as they also always bring up your weight!. I know its added covid risk so good for ypu saying your double jabbed. Now your forewarned what the next call will be like!. I hope you have a good week and ive always thought you were younger .your so young in spirit despite everything. I hope you can have a good birthday celebration next month!. Xxπ€β€π€ππ€β€π€
Thank you Misty. No I was not furious it is true I am obese but elderly?? As I told him I worked bloody hard at the gentle exercise class and walking and lost 7 stone. Then my knee dislocated so I could hardly walk let alone exercise. Then my Underactive thyroid played up, I had pleurisy, I had ear, chest and UTI infections, I had cardiac investigations, flares. I picked on four stone. I got back to the gentle exercise class and I lost a stone, then I got cellulitis and started having strange turns ( hemiplegic migraines). Then I got a high fever and diarrheoa, and lockdown started. I walked every single day on my treadmill. I lost a stone and a half then my asthma became unstable and I was on 40 mg steroids for six months and inactive, then more cellulitis followed by phlebitis, then the torn tendon and three months rest. So he can moralise as much as he likes about my weight but perhaps in my shoes he would not be fit and cocky. Sorry long story but I do get fed up of them thinking I am just a greedy pig. I am a veggie, I donβt drink milk, I make my own bread without additives, I drink lots of water so the only issue is not being able to move much. When I am enabled the weight goes off so all I need is some help xxx
You've been caught out every which way cecily and i agree re they've no right to be so judgemental!. Trouble is your all tarred with same brush without getting to know individuals cases!. I just hope the physiio phone call is more positive as you need help with that knee to get you moving.π€for you cecily. Keep safe. Xxπ€β€
Thank you, Misty for such a cute pic. When Gigi showed up in our yard, she was already 6 months, so we never got to see her that little. Now she is two. Rescuing her from the bad breeders, has brought us so much joy. Good luck with your foot appointment. i will be thinking about you.
Thats really special pumpkin so im glad you liked the puppies pic. You've given gigi such a lovely new start she knew where to come.Thank you for your lovely wishes and ill update next week. Take care and keep safe. Xxπ€β€π€πΆπ€β€π€πΆπ€β€π€πΆ
Iβm actually home - Yay I begged them to let me home so they said ok but you must do nothing and stick to the penicillin - feels like itβs been months from home - when we got home I stayed in the car then Ian put the girls on their leads then bought them to see me one at a time -Bea was squealing with excitement to see me - Mira was on her lead a good few minutes to calm her enough that she wouldnβt jump on me - itβs good to be home π‘
Its wonderful svfarmer your home and lovely how you dealt with Mira and Bea separately. They must have been bursting to see you!. You'll do much better with their care being home but i hope your being good and resting!. Can't beat our own beds can we?. I bet you get tired very quickly too. TAKE CARE Xx
They said in hospital they have never had someone who sleeps as much as me πππ I just blamed it on the lupus ππ Iβm so exhausted Iβm going to bed now Misty, Thankyou for your kind words β€οΈ
Oh its awful how our lives have been ruined by lupus fatigue but your sleeping will aid the healing process too. I hope you feel better soon. TAKE CARE.Xx
