Fabulous design!! My hubby has carved one for me n it's up on the wall near my armchair!! It helps me during tough times for sure 🌈😽😽xx

Hi, I carved this from Spalted Birch, which gives it the blotched look. I am pleased your husband's gives you some comfort.

It's fabulous!! We've not carved on spalted birch but spalted beech has wonderful markings to n we've used that quite a lot!! Hubby's spoon is carved with a bit of pallet wood n it says I 💜spoons on it!! Not nearly as intricate as yours!! Well done!! 👏👏👏🌈😽😽Xx

It’s hard to tell what size the spoon is , and can it be used , cake making , storing soup etc , or is it for ornamental use ?

Hi, The spoon is approx 11 inches and is capable of being used for cake making but because the dish is shallow not for soup. The finish is user friendly and food safe. it is not suitable for the dishwasher though.
