Hi Folks hope all have had a good week. Poor little Mira came into season this week so has been permanently sat on my lap as she is very clingy which suits me fine as am really into my knitting at the moment, the jumper that she is wearing I actually knitted for Bea, her mum but it was too small so am now making another one for Bea.
Wish me luck as I’ve got to go to Hospital on Friday for NCS and EMG tests which apparently are not pleasant as I have nerve damage in my feet .
Have a good week 😊

Thank you she is almost 7 months old, her mum who we also have had puppies in lockdown so I’ve been posting pictures from when the puppies were born, there we 3 - it cheered everybody up in lockdown following the growing of the puppies so every Monday I post a picture of Mira - until people get fed up of it 😂
Bless her. I have a labradoodle - 18 months old - she would look lovely in a jumper - I will have to start knitting . Good luck with Friday hope it goes ok x
I've got knitting patterns for jumpers but I'd be wasting my time.my 2 are never out of mud or water 🙄 so dont go out the door at this time of year without their equafleeces on x
Don’t laugh but they have their jumpers on in the house in winter as they seem to get very cold 🥶 and even wear PJ,s at bedtime- think I kind of mother them too much now my 3 sons have left home x
Haha......marley used to sleep outside in a kennel and he had a jumper for winter.im not even sure he needed it as spaniels are double coated and have a very good cold tolerance.they must have as millie was swimming this morning 🙄 thankfully she was dry under her fleece 👍x
Oh bless her. She looks so cute in her jumper. Good luck for your tests. I personally did not find them too bad but they found no nerve damage with me so that probably makes a difference. Let us know how you get on. Big Cwtches to you and little Mira xxx
Hi. Poor little Mira, she's reached puberty already! But she looks sooo pretty in pink.
Try to not worry about the NCS and EMG tests, I've had them and I'd say they were uncomfortable rather than painful. And they don't last long. Try to relax the arm they're testing, but not easy when you're scared. Hope the tests go well on Friday, please update us.
Do you have a dx or any treatment for your painful knee? Hugs, xxx
Thank you for the tips on the tests and yes can’t believe Mira has reached puberty already - she seems far too little .
I usually have my rheumatologist inject my knee with steroids once a year which does ease the pain for about 6 months - as I was in so much pain I rang and spoke to my GP and he agreed to inject my knee but it just hasn’t worked this time, think maybe he didn’t get it in the right place but can’t have another one so just got to put up with it - I asked the GP if eventually I will need a knee replacement and he said “ your far too young for that “ am 52 but felt like he was fobbing me off abit - when I eventually see my rheumatologist will take it up with him - how are your knees ? Xxx
It's only my left knee, tbh I'd be in a wheelchair if it was both of them, it's so painful. My rheumy doesn't think OA is at the route of my pain, but I guess the Orthopaedic Surgeon will be able to tell me more. My rheumy wants me to see the OS before any steroid injection, but he will give it if the wait is too long. Do they suspect OA in your case? If so, I would definitely push for knee replacement. Good luck!
is not all smooth it’s all jaggered and makes a horrendous noise and is constantly swollen , I’ve got RA as well as Lupus no OA as yet but haven’t had an X-ray for couple of years - it’s all fun and games isn’t it 😫 hope your knee pain dosnt go on to long and if offered I would except the injection as really does help in my case xx
I’ll be thinking of you on Friday and offering a cyber hand to hold as you go through your tests.🤝 Plan something nice for afterwards even if just a nice cuppa (one of Horsewhisper’s creations would be lovely) and then look forward to that. Good luck! 🤗😘x
