Does this look like a lupus rash?

Hello, I hope everyone is doing great! I've never had any symptoms (no hair loss, joint pains, fever, fatigue etc.) and I only showed positive ANA after a neurological irelevant blood test. My neurologist ordered ALL the antibodies (ENA, b2, ANCA, AMA etc.) and they are all negative. But he said I should see a rheumatologist just to be sure. I've never had any symptoms except this rash on and around my nose but I've had this for almost 10 years without any other problems. I also have dandruff so I always thought it's eczema. It also appears after baths and after applying some creams and products not with sun exposure. The rheumatologist couldn't find anything on her tests but re-ordered the blood tests and she seemed a little fascinated to diagnose me with something and said a dermatologist should see my rash. I am going to visit one soon but till then I can't calm down (hypochondriac here :/ ) so I would like some thoughts. Thank you for reading this!

Hi again and thank you for taking the time to answer! Well I'd say they do flake off quite easily. I've also noticed similar flakes on my chin (in my beard), on my forehead and on my ears, although they are smaller. Also I'd like to add that this area on my cheeks (where the flakes are) gets a bit more redish especially after shower or when I scratch it.

The easiest answer is no. I know different malar rashes vary in appearance, but they are all very red and normally raised. Definitely worth seeing a dermatologist to find out what it is (referrals may take a while in the current climate) but no sign of lupus in this photo and in your lack of symptoms.
