So far I've been diagnosed with UCTD - pending the results of several tests/scans.
My GP suspects lupus but Rhuemy doesn't want to label it yet until she is sure.
I get rashes all of the time but not always on my face. This one came up today, it looks a lot more faint in the photo than in person unfortunately due to bad lighting but can anyone advise if this looks like a lupus rash?

it does look like the butterfly rash but what your bloods are showing would help also watch for dry eyes is another possible indicator You dont say if you have any joint problems
I do get dry eyes yes and I have a lot of problems with swelling and pain in my joints. This is all being investigated by my Rhuemy and as my GP didn't do many tests initially we are waiting for all the results to come back.
So far I've been told I have extremely high antipholosiphid antibodies IgG and Anti-beta GP1. I know there were other issues present but I haven't been given any details

certainly does look like a malar rash , and with other results and symptoms could well indicate lupus , however rheumatologists appear to be ultra cautious before giving a definitive diagnosis !
that's not so good , but they wouldn't want to give you something that maybe isn't indicated. Hope you get some tests soon , I had to get a skin biopsy before it was diagnosed as lupus ( along with blood test results ).
