Was just doing some weeding- it’s never ending 😖 and realised how nice the garden looks at the moment x

I have a weed garden! It used to be a veg patch a few years ago (until we moved our growing to a little poly tunnel as I couldnt keep up with the weeding) and now it is completely swamped with sky high dock leaves and other stuff. It looks completely wild and I love it. I like to keep the weeds down on the paths and driveway so the weeds can do whatever they like in the old veg patch - and they do! 😂 xx

Our garden is absolutely huge it is approx an acre in size - some of it is an wild garden , some flower beds and the rest grass - we have a sit in lawn mower and it takes me 45 mins to cut it - just as I get the weeds down in one of the flower beds another bed needs weeding- we are going to work on a veg patch next year as will be great to grow our own veg x

Like the idea of sit on mower, far more leisurely way to cut the grass! The pesky weeds - I’m sure they take it in turns to keep us constantly weeding! 😂

Weeds are essential to the caterpillars of beautiful butterflies and moths, especially stinging nettles, so it is a great excuse I use constantly to explain wild/unkempt areas of our garden.😂

So much of interest and beauty in your garden, ours in built on clinker from the mines so nothing much will grow. We did pay the builders to landscape the garden and put a foot of topsoil down but I suspect they did not as we had a problem even getting the turf to take. Mind you I can kill anything without any help. Xx

Thankyou - no it’s railway sleepers but we have got a swinging bench near that is lovely and relaxing 😌
