Just thought I'd send you a pic of the first tulips I've grown. Hopefully will help keep spirits going at Easter.

They are nice and cheerful. I have just found some petunia and nasturtium seeds so thinking about starting them off for hanging baskets.

But also thinking about growing some food items this year. Fortunately I had some unused compost bags in my garden box so the growing restrictions in the shops won't hit me.

I love the colour. Dash loves a pink too!

Also, pretty useful having an elevated trough like that on legs. Less bending down and stooping.

We’re doing well thank you! My husband has booked leave so will be home for 10 days. Which means I can relax a little. And the weather has been great for the children to play outside. I hope you’re coping OK. You take care too. xx

[Hidden]

I love tulips (tulips are better than one 👄, 😂). Unfortunately our ground doesn’t get cold enough long enough during winter. I tried pulling the bulbs out of the ground and putting them in the freezer until time to replant. It didn’t work, but I should try it again, as I love them so. Bulbs are awesome. I love how they reproduce so rapidly.

I've just spent an hour in the garden doing bits and bobs. It's amazing how it can keep you mobile.

This week is really the first time in about 18 months since I've been able to do gardening bits and bobs. It's all down to that infusion that I had for pain. It was hell for 5 weeks afterwards but looking back now it was so worth it.

I have to wait until the sun has gone in but it's still so enjoyable watching things grow and nurturing plants back to life. I especially love learning about new plants that I've never come across before.

I'm so pleased ht that your reaping the reward for your lidocaine infusion!. You've had such a tough time with your health that I'm glad it helps the pain. It's wonderful that this awful virus business is making us appreciate these simpler moments that mostly we wouldn't have had time for.

I shall think of you pottering in your garden while I'm discovering something I've never had chance to do before!. It's good it gets us out in the fresh air.

My sons fiancé bought me some tulips, she told me her nan said to put some pennies in the vase and they will stay up right....it worked!
