Sore nipples

Has anyone else had sore nipples? I have SLE on hydroxycloriquine and for the last 3wks I have sore nipples continuously. Never had this before.

I was diagnosed 6 yrs ago could it be that the hydroxy isn't working anymore also hands and feet hurt most days which was how I was diagnosed in first place. ☹

I have been on hydroxy chloroquine for 8yrs now too. I have had sore nipple but never connected it to hydroxy. With lupus any part of our body can become sore at any time.

But call your Gp or consultant and talk to them about it. Xx

Was it on going did you get treatment for it?

No I have never actually told my doctors about it. Because it comes and goes.

You really should have them checked with your doctor.

Is the skin around them dry, you could try some lanolin based cream.

Hi skin isn't dry just swollen when sore. The things this condition does. A trip to GP it is ☹
