Bianco gets her treat! What is your comfort food?

Bianco has been such a fabulous mummy sitting on her nest for probably 23 hours of the day, only getting off to find some food and have a quick wash and drink. Yesterday I finally managed to get a delivery of dried mealworms. My ducks love them but sadly I have been unable to get hold of any for about 2 months...

well yesterday they arrived and Bianco just happened to be looking for food.. so without any of the other ducks seeing us, I gave her a handful all to herself. She was the happiest duck that I have seen in a long time!

What is your happy/comfort food?

Mine is hot toast, with melted salty butter and homemade thick rind marmalade

What a lucky mum to be! Mine is what I have literally just snaffled - cubed fresh canteloupe melon, live Rachel's coconut greek yog, couple of large spoonfuls of my very seedy granola, cinnamon sprinkle and honey. Happiness in a bowl..oh and a cup of Earl Grey. Sweet tooth...? Yes! Hope you are having a lovely day Leuann xx

That sounds delish!!! Had a lovely day sitting in the garden with the dogs and ducks ... they came to sit with me as the word has got out that I have mealworms!!!

She’s a busy lady duck looking after her eggs - definitely working up an appetite for those lovely mealworms! My happy food is a round of thick white toast, butter and marmite, accompanied by a large steaming mug of builders tea! Happy days! Xx

Bianco brings back memories of my childhood in Australia where we had a lot of ducks like Bianco (forgotten the name of them) and with a big drake named Peter with the red all over his head. 🥰 They were lovely and I enjoyed hugging them (aged 6 - 8) until we moved house and had to give them up.

My favourite treat is a chunky KitKat with a mug of coffee. 😋

Muscovy ducks! They are so chilled and friendly.

LOVE chunky Kit Kat’s but with tea! Not a coffee drinker unless a latte... which is basically flavoured milk!!! Xx

Muscovy ducks - of course. Thanks Leann. Yes, they were lovely, and the ducklings were gorgeous.

I only have 1 very milky coffee per day when at home or a latte when out, as I read somewhere that 1 coffee per day was good for you. Can’t remember why now. And the chunky KitKat goes so well with it. 👍🏻👍🏻

How wonderful that mummy duck had a treat to herself. My best comfort food is a pot of Haagen Daz strawberries and cream ice cream and one spoon 🍧🥄🍓😋❤️Sorry not sorry🐷

😂😂😂😂😂 that has made me howl... I am the girl who can eat a whole kg of chocolate to herself... whilst hiding somewhere where no one can find me

And on the ice cream front, I have managed to avoid a penchant for this particular food until we spent 3 months in Italy... and I discovered cherry gelato 😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬
