Hey there - I have ALWAYS washed my fruit and veg in VegWash ebay.co.uk/itm/362918762914 or similar - to ensure the nasties such as chemicals are got rid. I order mine from Ocado usually. But when I run out I just fill a bowl of water and put a drop of Ecover or similar non fragranced washing up liquid in and give the items a little bath then rinse thoroughly... although I did just find this: thekitchn.com/how-to-make-y... . Hope that helps. D

Yes have been washing everything in hot soapy water since this started.... then dry with tea towels that go in a hot machine wash.
