Risk or not
Hi leighlfc,
Yes, all undifferentiated connective tissue disease patients are advised to stay at home and self-isolate for 12 weeks.
For more information and tips on how to self-isolate, read our article on lupus and coronavirus at lupusuk.org.uk/coronavirus/.
Take care.
Hi, I'd like to know too. I have ME, addisons disease, and am hypothyroid and also UCTD and Hughes syndrome and never really know if the lupus guidelines count for me too or not since UCTD isnt Lupus proper so to speak...? or am I just really uninformed. (When I say I have ME, I mean that was the diagnosis I lived with for years before I fought for more tests etc) I think I need more info about my UCTD to understand how it expalins so much of my poor health, any ideas welcome, meanwhile guess thats a yes to isolating. good luck, stay well
PS so if I have UCTD does that count as a connective tissue disease? Admin may be able to answer this? when I look at the lupus corona info there is no mention of UCTD, does it come under the connective tissue diseases - so sorry if thats a dumb qu?
I had double phemonia Easter Saturday last year I got a response from lupus uk they assured me I was at risk didn’t help the anxiety though got 3 teenager and a partner and 2 dogs not even been a week yet x
Thank you. I would love more clarity about UCTD , even though it may not help the anxiety... huge good luck with staying well.
