Morning all hope the weather has been kind. My urine smells of germolene been tested for infection twice with negative results. My consultant and GP just shrugged it off. No I haven’t been eating anything different I’m drinking plenty of water, been like this for a couple of months. Any ideas.

Bessy, I have no idea, but just wanted to wish you the best in finding out the problem and correcting it. 🙏

Hi Bessy01,

A chemical substance called phenol gives Germolene it's distinctive smell. Phenol can be produced in Lupus nephritis. Do you have any kidney issues with your lupus? I don't so I'm not sure what else to look for & I assume kidney function has been checked.
