Lily, did you go to tribunal? That is the 4 independent judges? It usually takes months to be heard.

Every motor car dealership does car hire scheme, where you pay a deposit and a monthly payment but you have to find your own insurance, car road tax and pay for the service just as if it's your own car. You can buy it at the end of the contract or hand it back and start again.

If you could afford to buy the motility car you could do so but you have to pay all the money in one go.

When I was unable to drive after my stroke I loved using Lift, a cheaper system like uber. It was easy peasy, affordable and sometimes I think about giving up my car, which I am now cleared to drive, and just using a uber service for my needs. I live in a suburb 70 miles outside of New York City but I believe there are such services in less metro areas in the uk as well. Just a thought as an option while awaiting your appeal. Good luck!
