I need to get 3 quotes to UV tint my car for work. I’m a nurse and use my car a lot in the community.
I’m hoping that access to work will contribute to the cost but I’m struggling to find 3 fitters to give me a quote to fit the film on all the car windows (they’ll only contribute if I provide 3 quotes).
Some will only do the back windows (I’m guessing because the tint they use is dark-obviously no good for a front windscreen!)
I’m thinking that I could order a roll of uv filter film that doesn’t have a dark tint on it, then ask someone to fit it, rather than supply and fit. I can just see it getting complicated this way when it comes to getting a contribution from access to work as there will be a supply and fit cost, it would be easier to just find someone that would do the whole thing!
Anyone got any ideas?

You have to be extremely careful with tinting car windows.....I guess you know there is a legal limit to how dark you can go, & I think I read somewhere you. Shouldn't tint windscreens. I just have the rear & back windows tinted.
But do ask a professional motoring body who have no financial interest......someone selling tinted filter film will have a vested interest,& you don't want to get stopped by the Police because your tint is too dark!
my back window & 2 rear side windows are very dark, my driver & passenger windows are as dark as legally allowed & I have a uv reflective sun strip on my windscreen ( like people used to have with their names on ! ) it is all legal and done by a local company for £200. just search the internet for some near you
