I am having aches and pains in my feet because of the Lupus. I was thinking of getting a walking stick to reduce some of the pain I am feeling. What are some of the experiences for those who use walking stick has it helped in any way? Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated!
Thanks xxx

I have bad feet pain too and got a folding stick. I found that using a stick makes my hand/wrist and shoulder ache as I have osteoarthritis everywhere. The brain fog is the worst though because I end up carrying the stick and forgetting to use it. I just save it for the days when I really really have to use it and hobble the rest of the time.
I bought 2 walking poles online, about twenty pounds,I think. Sometimes I use them, sometimes not. I have them quite adjusted quite high, even though I am short. I find that having them high is better because it keeps my back straight. Find them better than a stick
I have used Nordic walking poles for several years . A huge help and allows me to enjoy all sorts of walks up to three or a bit more miles . Helps with uneven terrain too.
And yes , the poles should be high enough so that you grasp the handles with elbow at right angle. Resulting posture upright . Check out on Google for Nordic walking.
Hey, I have also been having pain in my feet, feels like someone is stabbing my joints with a hot poker. I used to use a stick but also found my other joints would suffer. Don't walk if you don't have to ❤️
