It looks like a type of psoriatic rash. My forearm has it as well. Does it itch or burn. I just call all of these things lupus skin.

I get the same thing. Find a dermatologist....mine prescribed a stronger RX hydrocortisone gel and it helps. Best of luck 💜🙏💜

They are horrid warty things that I was told was part of the joy of lupus. When one appeared on my face I put duck tape on it every night, removed it in the morning and it went after about 10:days (thank you Google) Worked even quicker on my arm - good luck.

Hi,

I have SLE and Antiphospholipid Syndrome. As with all these Autoimmune Disorders it can be hard knowing 'what is causing what'.

I have had a skin condition for over 20 years which looks similar to your picture but I suggest that maybe you get a biopsy done to make sure.

My skin condition is called Granuloma Annuare , a relatively uncommon disease which affects the collagen. It started on my arms and got worse after some personal difficulties.

Dear patient pat

Thank you for this information , I’ve trawled the internet to find out what it might be , I think you’ve hit the nail on the head . Thank you .

Says it’s lupus or thyroid related , I have both problems , do highly likely .

I did show it to my rumi on my last appointment , she had no comment , great to read it’s not serious , but I’m going to show them to my practice doctor to be in the same side .

Have a lovely day x

Pamela

Dear Willow 1414,

I am so pleased that you found my experience helpful.

I found the best Doctor to go to is a Dermatologist, preferably someone who has awareness of Autoimmune Disease. Many skin diseases look very similar. In the case of Granuloma Annuare there is no cure but I find an anti-inflammatory diet helpful.

I hope you get to see the right person and the answer you are seeking.

Wish you a lovely day too

x

I thought that as well but it’s so focal and by the picture it looks larger but she won’t know until she goes.
