Yes I do try a bath with Epsom salts added the magnesium in salts help
start bath on the cool side and gradually warm up until pretty near as hot as you can stand iff you have numb legs be careful , helps me.
Also I have a prescription for clonazepam to take at night prevents night spasms .

There is various suggestions such as magnesium, I increased banana 🍌 eating for the potassium, often if its not physical like wrong shoes etc. it relates to nutritional... Feel better....ml
Hi Mystik. Yes I have jumping cramps only in my left thigh but sometimes it shakes my whole body. Not nice at all & stops me sleeping. Hope you can find a cure
Do you take cholesterol medication? I had to stop mine because it caused such cramping. Try soda water-it has quinine in it which will relieve cramping. Also try accupreasure but applying pressure behind knee. Ibuprofen works best for me. Good luck.
Hi there - i started taking magnesium/calcium/zinc combo by Holland &barrett again - 1 in morning and 2 at bedtime... completely stopped! I was in utter agony prior with severe and sudden cramps in toes, feet, ankles and up into front of shins. Started mid eve and into the night. Dreadful. I used to take it yrs ago but stopped as started taking another product - but it didn’t have enough magnesium in it to work properly. I stated googling and read an article by aHealth specialist for runners which stated lack of magnesium causes muscle spasms - I’ll say! So glad the’ve stopped - like a miracle. I drink a bit of dill pickle juice. Weird but ends the cramps (immediately if sometimes only temporarily).
Magnesium oil spray massaged to affected muscle is wonderful for almost instant relief. And can be used daily as a preventative measure. I believe it's tonic water you'll need for quinine 😉
