Out of the blue I had a shoulder scan today, the least of my joint paint.
I've learnt, never ever mention anything negative about another consultant, that did not go well at all. I couldn't even get out my reason for going private. Stupid, STUPID Lesa! Also that I have Calcium deposits on my shoulder and inflammation because there is pain. He offered me an injection which I declined. Reason behind declining is that this pain is insignificant compared to other pain. If I start injections now, I have no where to go when it is severe. No other imagery is offered unless a Rhuematologist requests it. But at least I found out the Pain isn't in my head; I'm not crazy! πππ€―π€ͺπ€«

Iβm sorry about the lesson hard learned...doctors stick together and often donβt like negative comments about their colleagues.
Once in a while they will support you when they have knowledge a colleague is BAD. This happened to me from a pharmacist who told me to RUN away ASAP from my then doctor. I didnβt and found out I should have listened after my doctor hit me between the eyes.
After that I never saw him again. He was banned from the hospital for assaulting patients there.
So we live and learn albeit the hard way at times.
Iβm glad your shoulder pain was confirmed and that will be proof in your medical journey for future reference.
I hope sweetie that you get it all sorted. Best wishes dear.
Hi there lady. I too have shoulder spurs but chose to get the injection. It really helped and lasted me about a year. You can repeat it. Why suffer if you donβt have to! Sending hugs. Also, I recently tore my rotator cuff and physical therapy helped a lot. Shoulder exercises might help. Sending hugs!
Thanks so much! Good to know it can work. I've got an open appointment so I can get a jab any time. I've had one before in my hand, but totally different problem and sadly it didn't work. I just needed time think.
Be kind to yourself today πΌπΈπ§ββοΈπββοΈπΉ
So sorry to hear. On a more positive note, this is another beautiful painting. You are very talented and your work is incredibly uplifting.
I used to draw for fun. I tried drawing this week but my brain fog was really severe, and I just couldn't. It was a sad moment. I am going to try to remain positive that I will see improvement and get drawing again. You are proof that it is possible
