HELP PLEASE

I have received a summary of my rheumatoid consultation. It says my blood teste revealed weakly positive Aca in lgG spectrum and they need to repeat the test in three months. I have not a clue what this means does anybody know please. I,m desperately worrying.

Hello maalidog,

It could be an Anti-Cardiolipin Antibody result. If it is, then 'weak positives' are quite common in the general population, may be transient, and of no clinical significance. It is usual to re-test after some weeks or months to check.

However, from the little information you give, it's not clear that this is what your test result is really, and it would be foolish for us in this forum to suggest we know. Do have a word with your clinician if you are worried
