How to wash sun cream, any tips please

Hi all, I am having to start putting 50+ sun cream on my face every day. However, I find it difficult to clean my face fully every evening. I am sure there is still some remaining. Have you got any practical tips please. So far I have only used warm/hot water. Thank you.

Any good cleanser will do the job. I use Dermalogica’s Special Cleansing Gel - no fragrance, soap-free and ph neutral. But I also like The Ordinary Squalene cleanser which is cheap as chips and also very good at removing eye makeup.

Hi. I use Cetraban facial wash which works really well and a gentle face exfoliator.

I can recommend Dermalogica’s Daily Milkfoliant as a gentle exfoliator. I buy the small size which lasts me nearly 6 months and use it a couple of times a week. It’s very good at gently getting rid of the dry scaly bits from the rashes and lesions I get on my face.

I’ve really leaned into Dermalogica’s products in the last year. Their cleansers and moisturisers, partic their Stabilizing Repair Cream, have really helped my facial lesions heal.

Thank you. I am going to the shops now to explore what they have to offer.

Hi: I use microfibre face cloths - loads of people make them now: Magnitone, Dermaworks, Skin Revolution, and so on. They're very effective, and even better, they're machine washable.

Oh, that’s great, I will definitely look it up. I would prefer reusable ones. Thank you.

Good luck - hope they work as well for you as they have for me :-)

I use Nivea 50+ facial sun lotion, it washes off nicely with just tea tree facial lotion and water, then I moisturize with Simple moisteriser x

Hi Petrof

I use Tropic cleanser, I also use their SPF Face cream, it’s not sticky and actually makes a great base for their mineral foundation.

Just for clarity I am an ambassador for Tropic but that aside I can 100% recommend their products. I use their SPF 50 Great Barrier sun cream for my body too. In fact all my makeup, lotions and potions are Tropic 😂

They have a great satisfaction promise, if you try any product and for whatever reason you don’t like it you will receive a full refund. All natural, no nasty chemicals. You may have sn ambassador in your area who could let you try before you buy. Definitely worth a look. 😊
