Lincolnshire support groups

Hi everyone

I was wondering if there are any support groups in the North of Lincolnshire that I could attend.

I live between Louth & Market Rasen in the Lincolnshire Wolds and it would be nice to meet and speak to people who are going through the same things as we all do.

I live in South of Lincolnshire near Stamford I know that there's a support group in Peterborough xx

Thanks for coming back. I actually live in Binbrook in the Wolds and I am afraid Peterborough is just a little too far away!

Hi I live near Scunthorpe, I would definitely be interested if you manage to find a group? My mother in law lives near Louth and am willing to travel. Would be nice to speak to others with lupus etc I find it hard to talk to others about my illness as I just get told ‘you look fine’

Yes we do look fine most of the time don't we - but it's true looks can deceive. iI hope you are feeling okay at the moment.

Unfortunately as of yet I haven't found a support group near to the both of us but if I do I will definitely let you know. I am not far off Louth, about 11 miles that's all.

In the meantime feel free to "talk" to me anytime, I can't promise to make you feel better but I am a good listener and at least I will understand what you are going through.

I believe that the nearest regional support group for you would probably be the East Midlands Lupus Support Group. They have a Facebook page at facebook.com/EastMidlandsLu... or I can send you contact details privately if you need them?
