someone tell me what this is ??

so this has appeared on my arm, i just noticed it today it hasn't been itchy and i wouldn't have noticed it unless my amazing girlfriend spotted it and told me that something was wrong. none of us have a clue what it is. it's just red spots on the inner side of my arm. opposite of my elbow . i'm quite conserned at the moment and i'd love for any help or information . thanks

Hi there, were you hot in the night as It may just be a sweat rash. I get that sometimes. I'm on steroids and that can also cause red marks, as can blood thinners. Of course if you are worried, goto your nurse or doctor. These marks are pretty common though. Good luck. Janh

Difficult to see really - but it could be something called petechiae: small bleeds due to tiny blood vessels being fragile and breaking. It's in the crook of your arm isn't it? Looks as if you might have pinched it carrying something perhaps?

If you have ITP or anything related to platelets you mite wanna get it checked out

Have you had a diagnosis for lupus?

Skin involvement is common in lupus, with 60-70% of people with lupus reporting some skin problem. There are a number of steroid creams and ointments that can be used to treat rashes that range from mild to strong which you can discuss with your GP or Rheumatologist. That looks the same as the rash I sometimes get on my face my wife calls it pokee face it appears and disappears very quickly don't no what it is but there was a lady at rumi clinic last time I was ther with the me rash ?
