Someone please help me
Hello Fredabooboo
Sorry to hear you are suffering so much again. I'm wondering how things have moved on since you posted last? Did your medics provide any further insights or help in coping with your problems? Here's the replies you got then - I don't think I can add much atm healthunlocked.com/lupusuk/... x
If you have had any sort of blood clot you really should see a doctor before flying. .......especially if you haven't declared it on your travel insurance.
Better to miss a holiday than get a bill from an overseas hospital.
Sorry to hear you’re feeling so rubbish at the moment 🙁. There can be so many causes of these pains and strange sensations you really need to see a rheumatologist or neurologist, certainly to ask your GP or diabetic nurse if it’s related to that?
Hope you manage to enjoy your holiday and get some relief from your symptoms x
Thank you so much..I'm under a rhumy doc but think your right about neurologist..if it were the diabetes surely the pain would be there even when I was up and about which it isn't.. it seems to fade once I'm up..luckily my Tunisian friends are there to look after me if needed ..your a star for trying to help me thank you x
Hello Fredabooboo. If you have Psoriatic arthritis the pain and morning stiffness etc is likely that. I’ve just got confirmation that is what I have. Are you on any treatment for your PA? I’m not medically qualified but I suggest you find yourself a good rheumatologist. Here in Australia we now have access to subsidized TFN blockers which have proven beneficial for some sufferers. I have felt some benefit on plaquenil for lupus symptoms but it is not enough for the PA symptoms. Hope you can get some help soon as the chronic pain and stiffness you describe is hard to deal with and affects your sleep.
